## About holidays in Portugal

Portugal's list includes Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Corpus Christi; four holidays suspended from 2013 to 2015 were restored in 2016. Carnival Tuesday and each municipality's own holiday — 13 June in Lisbon, 24 June in Porto — are optional and depend on the employer. The Azores and Madeira add regional days, and a holiday on a weekend is not moved.
