What’s better than a donut? Multiple donuts. Premium donuts, with various alterations to make them look and taste more like cakes. That’s what Krispy Kreme Japan is bringing out right now, with a set of four new donuts to choose from in its inventory, each with decadent fillings and creative design.
Out of the donuts, you can choose from, first is the Krispy Kreme Premium Brulee Glazed Cream donut, which is a glazed donut with a whipped cream center meant to summon thoughts of a delicious creme brulee dessert.
The Krispy Kreme Premium Latte Bunny has a rabbit face on top of the donut with flaky cookie ears, icing, roasted almonds, and a little candy bow tie on top of the donut, which tastes like a latte.
The Krispy Kreme Premium Matcha Azuki is a green tea-flavored donut with green tea whipped cream and sweet azuki bean paste filling. There’s even some gold powder on the top!
Finally, the Krispy Kreme Premium Sakura has a cherry paste with strawberry, cranberry, and raspberry puree inside with some whipped cream at the center and a pink glaze on the outside.
Each donut is about $2.46 apiece, and you can buy a box of all four as the Krispy Kreme Premium Box. Now, all we need is for these donuts to come westward. Go ahead, Krispy Kreme! I’ll wait.
These flavors could all go a very long way in the States, especially since everyone loves a latte, and everyone loves weird combinations of coffee and sweetness. Plus, who doesn’t love an adorable bunny peeking out at them? These donuts are just the latest in a long line of awesome treats, brought to you by Japan, the same country that brought us coffee butter, sliced chocolate, cherry soda floats, and cherry blossom McFlurries. Sounds like it’s time to take a trip.
