It’s Your Duty as an American to Send Voters Pizza | Tech |

It’s Election Day 2016, which means the world will be watching with baited breath as the nation with the largest military in the world decides who will be pointing the guns — Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. With such a historic election, you can bet lines for the polls are going to be pretty crazy. So why not send pizza to hungry voters across the country?

Polls.Pizza lets you report long lines at voting booths and then it sends pizzas to those most in need. And honestly, unless you see bald eagles pooping apple pies over amber waves of grain while America the Beautiful plays in the background, you’re going to be hard-pressed to find anything more American than the delicious fusion of pizza and democracy.

To get cheesy goodness into the hands of your fellow Americans, you need to send a link to a social media report of a long line (be it a tweet or public Facebook post) as well as the address of the polling place. Then, the site will determine if the claim is legitimate and feed hungry citizens eager to perform their civic duty.

We’re sending eight pizzas from Sarpino’s Pizzeria to Welles Park in Chicago – should be there soon!

So far, the site’s already delivered 32 pizzas to four different polling sites feeding dozens of hungry voters. If you want to follow all the action on the big day, follow @pizzatothepolls on twitter, and donate to the fund if you can.

Now, if you’re not sure where you, dear reader, are supposed to vote, you can just search for your address on In the vein of “What’s the fucking weather?” and “Where the fuck should I go to eat?”, “Where’s my fucking polling place?” shows you the closest registered voting locations, their hours, and a map so you can get to your fucking polls and do your fucking civic duty. Plus! If you’re not sure what’s going to be on the ballot, you can get a preview so you can do some quick research before you head out.

With these kinds of resources, you have ZERO excuse. Go. Vote.
